Microsoft 365 & Cloud

Microsoft 365, set up properly and priced sensibly.

Migration off ageing on-premise servers, licensing brought back in line with what your team actually uses, and a cloud estate sized for the business you are now rather than the one you were.

Where SMEs lose money

Microsoft 365 is rarely the problem. How it was set up usually is.

Licences for people who left

Every unreclaimed seat is a monthly cost for nothing. It's the single most common saving we find.

Premium plans for everyone

Plenty of businesses pay top-tier licensing across the board when a handful of users need the extra features.

Hosting that grew by accretion

Servers and services added over years, sized for peaks that no longer happen, and never revisited.

SharePoint nobody structured

The files are in the cloud, but finding anything still takes three people and a guess.

What we do

From on-premise to properly run.

  • Migration from on-premise servers and legacy email to Microsoft 365, with a plan that doesn't stop your business for a week.
  • Licensing review — matching plans to roles, reclaiming what's unused, and telling you plainly where you're overspending.
  • Hosting rationalisation — reconciling what you run against what you actually need.
  • SharePoint and Teams structure that people can find things in.
  • Security baseline — multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and sensible admin control.
  • Ongoing management, so it doesn't drift back within a year.
  • Integration — connecting Microsoft 365 to the line-of-business systems your team works in.
Beyond migration

Microsoft 365 is a platform, not just an email system.

We build on top of it — apps and integrations that use the SharePoint and 365 environment you already pay for, rather than adding another system with another subscription.

Questions

Common questions

How disruptive is a migration?

Planned properly, most of the work happens outside business hours and users notice a changeover rather than an outage. The risk comes from migrations that weren't scoped — unmapped mailboxes, forgotten shared drives, applications nobody mentioned.

Can you reduce our licensing costs?

Usually, yes. Reclaiming unused seats and matching plan tiers to actual roles is the most common saving, and it costs nothing to check.

Do we still need backup if we're on Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft protects the platform; your data is still your responsibility. This is one of the most common gaps we find.

Azure or AWS?

Depends on what you run. For most SMEs already in Microsoft 365, Azure is the lower-friction answer — but we've no incentive to push either.

Is your IT actually working for you?

If nobody in your business owns that question, a half-hour conversation is worth having. No obligation, and no pitch if we're not the right fit.
